Tentative Transmits: The Radio as G/Host is a discursive audio platform that investigates memory, radio histories, solidarity practices and post-socialist transitions, across and beyond, Central and Eastern Europe. Through concepts such as hauntology, post-memory and off-modern, Tentative Transmits together with its collaborators seek to put the relationship of archive and narrative into question. 

Tentative Transmits is organized by Olivia Berkowicz and Marianna Feher.

︎︎︎ Olivia Berkowicz is a curator, writer and editor. Her practice explores the intersection of critical visuality studies and contemporary art theory, taking the form of sonic encounters, exhibitions, residencies and writing. 

︎︎︎ Marianna Feher is an artist, organizer and researcher. Her work is often mediated through writing, performance, sound, montage and public gatherings. Her practice investigates ways in which social, political and interpersonal forms of power interact with, and affect bodies.
